There will be another headache for drivers related to the closures at the Norris Whitney bridge between Belleville and Prince Edward County, particularly in the morning commute hours.
Although the closures will be single-lane, not full closure, they will have an extended timeline, as construction crews continue the bridge rehabilitation project.
The single-lane closure time will now run from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m., staying to a single lane for two hours more in the morning than the previous double-lane shutdown.
The Ministry of Transport study is looking at best ways to rehabilitate the Norris Whitney bridge and increase its capacity in the future.
