A Belleville man has been arrested following a near week old incident in the city.
On Monday, November 12, around 1 p.m., a man attended a residence on MacDonald Avenue and became involved in a dispute with the occupant.
The man smashed a door at the residence and left the scene. The man was identified as 39-year-old James Smith and a warrant was quickly put out for his arrest.
Late Saturday night, around 11:30 p.m. the man was located and arrested without incident by patrol officers.
He was charged with one count of mischief under $5000 and was held for a video remand on Sunday.
