A Quinte West business initiative has raised some big dollars once again for the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Thursday, at Leon’s Superstore Trenton, a cheque was presented to TMHF for more than $44,000.
It all came through Leon’s Buy-A-Bed campaign, where the store donated $25 from any mattress purchase over $299. They also accepted donations at the store on Glen Miller Road as well.

Each bed for the hospital costs about $8,000, so more than 5.5 beds can be purchased with the money raised.
The Trenton Golden Hawks have teamed up Leon’s as well with jerseys the store is selling, with all proceeds continuing to go to the campaign.
