Every spring in most municipalities you can find a road with a load restriction in effect.
This coming spring in Prince Edward County, council is attempting something new.
Council during their Committee of the Whole meeting at Shire Hall discussed amending that load restriction to allow farmers to get their crops out.
Mayor Robert Quaiff says this is a needed change for area farmers.
Final approval of the motion will be up for debate on November 27.
