The low water concern in the Quinte Conservation watershed appears to be improving, slowly.
Officials say the water levels in the Moira River, portions of Napanee, and Salmon River that were low, have now returned to normal levels.
They add that the stream flow and groundwater levels are also in the average range once again.
This past summer, a Level 1 Low Water Condition was issued for the three watersheds.
The upper portions of the Salmon and Napanee Rivers remain at low water levels, as the northern regions haven’t received as much rainfall.
