A study by an international economic and labour market consulting firm shows that Loyalist College students do very well when compared to those who only complete high school.
The study by Economic Modeling Specialists International shows that on average a Loyalist graduate will earn an undiscounted value of $625,000 moreĀ over his or her career than a high school graduate.
The study also reports that Loyalist College itself contributes 5.8% of the Gross Regional Product, representing $465 million a year in the regional economy.
The President of Loyalist College, Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan, says the report underscores how important the college is to driving the economy of eastern Ontario.
