It has been 50 years since Lower Trent Conservation began its mandate and work in the area.
The authority area stretches from Rice Lake to Trenton, Grafton to the edge of Belleville.
This month, they have released a report called “The First 50 Years and Beyond”.
CAO Glenda Rodgers says their first report was released in 1970.
Rodgers says one of the highlights of the report is the discussion on invasive species.
