A taxi business in Prince Edward County is hoping to have their licences renewed following a discussion at Shire Hall tomorrow night (Tuesday).
In a report to council, the By-Law Enforcement Officer is asking council to refuse to grant the licences on the basis that two dates on the safety standard certificates had been altered and four other vehicles had not been safetied as required by the by-law.
Terry Rand, owner of Terry’s Taxi Service will make a deputation at Shire Hall.
Council will also look to make the intersection of Elizabeth and Mary Street in Picton an all-way stop.
Two stop signs would be installed on Mary Street to create the four-way stop.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
