The Picton Pirates hammered the Little Britain Merchants 9-4 on the strength of five points from Will Harrison and a pair of three-point nights from Devin Morrison and Derek Vos.
Meantime, a Campbellford Rebels comeback fell short, as they lost on home ice 5-4 in overtime to the Georgina Ice.
Mathieu Piazzi, Nathan Ketcheson, Nick Rankin and Matt Moran scored for Campbellford, Dawson McLaughlin made 37 saves in net.
Both teams are back in action on the road Sunday. Picton is in Gananoque at 7 p.m. and Campbellford visits Little Britain at 7:30 p.m.
Also, the Napanee Raiders host Georgina at 7 p.m.
And in the OJHL, the Trenton Golden Hawks head to North York to face the league-best Rangers at 3 this afternoon.
