Two vehicles were involved in a crash early this afternoon that has blocked a portion of Highway 62 near Madoc.
The OPP Communications Centre says it happened right around 1 p.m. on Hwy. 62, near Bell Road.
Highway 62 is closed between Preston Road and Crookston Road as OPP investigators are on the scene and there’s no word on any injuries.
Drivers will want to avoid the area if they can until further notice.
Meanwhile, another two-vehicle crash has been reported at Springbrook Road and Stirling-Marmora Road, in Marmora.
And earlier today, a pair of rollovers on the 401 were reported between 11 a.m. and noon, both in the eastbound lanes near Brighton.
No other details are available on any of those incidents and but drivers are reminded to adjust their speed to changing weather conditions as the temperature drops and the possibility of snow and ice increases.
