A Quinte West man has been arrested for allegedly stealing donation boxes from a downtown business.
Police were told last week that on October 29 around 11:00 a.m., a man was caught on camera stealing a donation box that was supporting the Children’s Miracle Network along with cash from a poppy donation box.
Images of the suspect were circulated around the Quinte West detachment and an off-duty civilian staff member was able to recognize him.
On Tuesday, 32-year-old Daniel Wolf Sullivan was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
He was released with a promise to appear in Belleville court on December 20.
