OPP say too many people have been driving the wrong way on provincial roads over the last month.
Between October 5 and November 5, officers responded to 25 reports of wrong way drivers, with a crash happening in five of those and two people dying in a pair of those incidents.
So far 12 charges have been laid in connection to five of those calls, including tow charges of driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs.
In 2017 there were 182 incidents involving wrong way vehicles and this year there have already been 207.
If you see a driver going the wrong way, you should immediately pull over to a safe spot and call 9-1-1 with your location and a description of the suspect vehicle, along with a license plate number if possible.
Drivers are also reminded to pay full attention to the road and all directional signage, especially on busy, multi-lane highways.
