The City of Belleville’s October building permit value is down compared to the same month last year.
Seventy permits worth more than $6.7 million were issued last month, compared to a value of more than $7.2 million during October 2017.
While the monthly permit value number is down, year-to-date values are up.
The city has issued more than $104 million worth of permits through the end of October, compared to a little more than $97 million to the same point last year.
Of the 70 permits issued last month, 20 were for new residential projects, 31 were for other residential renovations or improvements, with one new commercial project included as well.
