A 28-year-old woman is dead following an accident on Sunday afternoon involving an ATV.
Napanee OPP say they were called, along with paramedics and the Stone Mills Fire Department before 3 p.m. to the Cataraqui Trail, just north of Camden East.
The collision occurred when the woman and a male passenger struck a metal gate across the trail near County Road 4.
Neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Miranda Shaddick succumbed to her injuries at the hospital say police.
The man remains in hospital with serious injuries.
The collision remains under investigation.
