A new kind of subdivision is being proposed for the City of Belleville.
At its meeting today (Monday), the Planning Advisory Committee will be asked to approve rezoning
to allow for a housing development featuring 91 single detached, 44 semi-detached, and 148 townhouses on
21 hectares of land at Farnham Road and Scott Drive.
The development is being proposed by Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities, Canada’s leading owner, operator,
and developer of “land lease” communities.
Parkbridge homes are more affordable because buyers only purchase the home, not the land on which it sits. Parkbridge retains ownership of the land and leases it to homeowners.
Two parks are proposed in the development as well.
