Quinte West firefighters had their hands full with a silo fire last (Sunday) night.
Fire crews from the South Murray hall were called out at around 5:30 for a fire in a silo
at the Maizeing Acres grain elevator business at 157 County Road 40, also known as Wooler Road.

It took firefighters about three hours to douse the silo fire completely.
No one was injured and a cause or damage estimate isn’t available.
