More than 50,000 people across North America celebrate National Philanthropy Day on November 15.
Held on the same day every year, more than 100 events pay tribute to the extraordinary achievements that philanthropy has made to communities nation wide.
Canadians gave approximately $14.3 billion in donations to registered charities in 2014 and volunteered 2.1 billion hours.
