A big triumph for the St. Theresa Titans Varsity Football team.
The third seeded Titans upset the second seeded Centennial Chargers 5-3 in the Bay of Quinte senior semi-final Friday afternoon.
A first half safety and last second field goal won the game for the Titans.
The team is comprised of grade nine through 12 players who are competing at the senior level for the first time in the school’s short football history.
The Titans will meet the Eastside Secondary Ravens in the championship final. The Ravens pounded the Trenton High Tigers 41-8 in the other semi-final game.
