A 16-year-old from Loyalist Township has been charged with drug and weapons offences.
Members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant on Tuesday after an investigation in the alleged trafficking of prescription medications at Napanee District Secondary School.
Police arrested the youth and charged him with with drug possession and possession of a prohibited weapon, after finding a knife on him as well.
He was also charged with drug trafficking, in relation to an incident at the high school on October 19, with police seizing a number of Xanax pills.
The accused was released on a promise to appear in Napanee Youth Court and a name is not being released.
