The message this morning at the Belleville Chamber of Commerce breakfast was that army reservists are not only important to our country, but they are valuable to businesses too.
Lieutenant-Colonel Chris Comeau addressed Chamber members and spoke about why he wants the Hasty Ps to be the part-time employer of choice.
He says he believes the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment could be 400 members strong by 2021.
Anyone between the ages of 16 (with Grade 10 math) and 56 can serve as a reservist.
Comeau says there are a number of benefits of having an army reservist on staff.
