Busy times are ahead for the staff and students at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada.
November 1, staff will embark on their annual Fall Audition Tour. Artistic Director Catherine Taylor and her assistant Desirée
Botting will visit several cities in Ontario and then head east in to the Maritimes.
The pair will present masterclasses and audition young dancers hoping to be accepted into next year’s Summer Intensive program.
Meanwhile, at the Belleville school itself students are rehearsing for the annual “Holiday Dance” show which will feature highlights from
the famous “Nutcracker” ballet.
The shows feature performances from the professional division dance students.
Tickets are now on sale for “Holiday Dance” There will be an evening show December 15 and a matinee December 16.
The shows will be held at Centennial Secondary School.
