Online voting has also seemed to be popular in Belleville with clerk Matt MacDonald saying as of Thursday, 4,213 people had voted online, with another 800 or so voting at advance polls.
MacDonald estimates that close to 9,000 people had voted so far on election day, as of 3:00 p.m.
In Prince Edward County, more than 3,000 people had already cast ballots at polling stations, as of 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Communications Director Mark Kerr says prior to that, 2,533 voted online and just over 1,000 people voted at advance polls.
