Two young men were arrested in a high-risk takedown in Bancroft Saturday afternoon.
Bancroft OPP officers responded to a threats complaint on Woodview Lane and were advised that a prohibited weapon was used during the threat. Two men were identified during the initial investigation.
Officers located one of the men at the intersection of Hastings Street North and Bridge Street West and conducted a high-risk arrest, finding the prohibited weapon on him.
A 17-year-old is being charged with multiple offences, while 22-year-old Daniel Stein of Bancroft has also been charged.
Both of the accused are being held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on Sunday.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
