The Quinte region’s business community got together in the beautiful National Air Force Museum to honour their own Friday night for
the 22d annual Quinte Business Achievement Awards Gala.
Close to 400 people attended as 15 businesses and their owners/operators received recognition for their efforts.
The Business Person of the Year was Chandy Davis of Electro Cables in Quinte West.
Vic Cafe of Picton won Hospitality/Tourism Business of the Year.
Veenstra Plumbing was given the Sustainability Award.
Health and Wellness honours went to The Right Fit.
The Specialized Service Business of the Year was won by Nesda Technologies.
The Regulated Professions Business of the Year was handed to Rushnell Funeral Service.
The Business Excellence Award went to Donini Chocolate.
The Trailblazer of the Year was won by NOD Apiary.
The Trade/Construction Business of the Year went to Quality Mechanical.
The Retail Business of the Year was taken by B & H Carpet.
The Agribusiness of the Year was won by Brambleberry Farm.
The Young Entrepreneur of the Year was Melanie Harrington.
The Manufacturing/Industrial Business of the Year was awarded to Quinte Boat Docks.
The New Business of the Year was given to She Thrives.
And, the Not For Profit award went to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
