Police have released more information into the collision that claimed the life of one person on Tuesday afternoon.
Napanee OPP say transport driver Ronald Brault of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec died in the collision.
The driver of the transport was 71 years old.
The 401 eastbound is open while repairs to the road are being completed.

One person is dead following a tractor trailer collision and rollover on Highway 401 around Napanee late yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.
Unconfirmed reports indicate two tractor trailers were involved in the eastbound lanes with one driver being ejected from the vehicle shortly after 5 o’clock.
Highway 401 east has been closed since then and remains closed.
Reports indicate the cargo being carried was not hazardous and OPP say there were no other injuries.
The highway was opened to traffic after 8 this morning.
