Local residents are being encouraged to pick up their orange boxes for hazardous waste.
Thursday at the Belleville Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot on Wallbridge Crescent, you can grab an orange box.
Officials say they are designed for hazardous material or electronic waste, and made for easy drop offs at the depot or mobile events.
The Hazardous & Electronic Waste depot will be operating with extended hours for six weeks. The hours are as follows: Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and the first Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
