The home opener for the Belleville Senators goes Wednesday night.
The Sens welcome the Binghamton Devils.
Belleville goaltender Mike McKenna says they are looking forward to getting the home portion of their schedule underway.
He says he has liked his time in the area so far.
Forward Drake Batherson tells Quinte News the home opener will be great.
Batherson adds he has started settling into the Bay of Quinte region.

The Ottawa Senators have re-assigned defenceman Christian Jaros and forward Nick Paul back to Belleville.
Jaros played two games while picking up his first NHL point. Paul did not play.
There are also fan festivities in the front parking lot for 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The lighting of the CAA Arena sign, free rally towels, a chance to meet the players, and the 50/50 starting at $5,000 are all part of the evening.
