Belleville police are looking for a suspect after a driver wouldn’t stop for police and ended up abandoning a vehicle and running away yesterday (Monday).
The incident occurred in the West Park Village area of Belleville. The abandoned vehicle had been reported stolen to Peterborough Police.
An OPP canine unit was called in but was unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
Belleville police say a warrant is out for the arrest of a 26-year-old city man in connection with the incident.
