Foley Bus Lines- Major Bantam
The Foley Bus Lines Major Bantams increase their first place points to 15.
On Thursday the Devils hosted the Kingston Frontenacs. The Devils lead 1 – 0 after the first. In the second both teams scored. Quinte netted 4 and Kingston netted one of their own. Quinte would go on to score 2 more times in the third and secure the 7 – 1 win.
Saturday was another home game for the Devils vs the Barrie Jr Colts. The Colts found the back of the net half way through the first period. The Devils would answer back just before the period ended. The Devils went on to score 3 more in the second and 5 in the third to take a 9 – 1 victory.
The Devils travel to Oshawa this Friday October 19th to take on the Generals at 8:30pm and then they host the Whitby Wildcats on Saturday. Game time is 3:45pm at QSWC (Family Dental Centre).
A.Walsh Fencing- Novice
A.Walsh Fencing QRD Novices went on the road this past Saturday for an afternoon game against the Ajax-Pickering Raiders.
The Devils would open the scoring less then a minute in to take a 1-0 lead.
Ajax-Pickering would answer with their own goal a couple minutes later in the first period to tie the game 1-1.
The Devils would add 2 more goals in the first period to take a 3-1 lead heading into the second period.
In the second period the Devils offense would heat up by scoring 5 goals in the period and would take a 8-1 lead heading into the third period.
The QRD Novices would cruise to a 12-1 victory.
In net was Nathan McDonald.

Sunday your A.Walsh Fencing Novices would host east division rival the Clarington Toros in Madoc.
The Novice Devils Would open the scoring five minutes into the first period to take a 1-0 lead.
Clarington would score a couple minutes later to tie the game 1-1.
The Novice Devils would add 2 more goals in the first to take a 3-1 lead and would go on to win the game 4-1.

The Pond at Rhino Sports & Playland- Minor Atom
The Rhino Sports Minor Atom’s traveled to Aurora to play York-Simcoe Express. Late in the first period, QRD was on the power play and Jake Gawley (assisted by Keegan Goulah) ripped one pass the goalie. A few seconds later, Gawley (assisted by Pierson Clute) did it again!
The score was 2-1 for Quinte at the end of the first period. York-Simcoe tied it up in the second period, but Quinte wasn’t ready to give up yet. Keegan Goulah (assisted by Maclean Chisholm) scored, to bring Quinte in the lead once again. York-Simcoe challenged back with another goal and the game was tied 3-3. With one minute left in the game, York-Simcoe scored again. Quinte fought back and with 20 seconds left in the game, Keegan Goulah scored his second goal of the period. Daniel Yeo was in net for the 4-4 tie.
On Sunday, Quinte faced off against the Barrie Jr. Colts in Madoc. There was no score at the half way point in the game, then Chase Cybulskie scored an unassisted goal with 20 seconds left in the second period. Barrie came out strong at the start of the third period and scored to tie the game. With one minute left in the game, Brayden Davidson (assisted by Nate Rashotte) slipped one past the goalie. Barrie pulled their goalie and Davidson (assisted by Jonas McCoy) scored on the empty net. Charlie Vos took the 3-1 win in net
Free Flow Petroleum- Minor Midget
Two games this weekend for the Minor Midgets
Saturday the Free Flow Petroleum Minor Midgets played against the leaders of the ETA West division, York Simcoe Express. Quinte started strong with two goals in the first period both scored by Jett Butler. Assists by Ben White, Brady Darrach, Daniel Michaud and Luke LePalm. Unfortunately, YSE had a strong second period with 3 goals followed by 2 more in the third. Final score was 5-2. Ethan Fraser was solid in net.
In their first matchup of the season the team went on the road to Lindsay to face Central Ontario Wolves. The boys couldn’t manage to get on the scoreboard. Final result was a 3-0 loss. Alex Lucas was goaltender.
Next up is a home game against Barrie on October 20th, 5:45 at the Family Dental Centre.
Bonn Law- Minor Bantam
The Bonn Law Minor Bantams remained undefeated over the weekend earning their 7th and 8th wins of the season, remaining in first place in the East division. They travelled to Barrie Friday evening to face off against last year’s OMHA finalists. Scoring opened late in the second period with a goal from Aiden Haller-Brady. Another QRD goal soon followed from Cal Uens. Helpers credited to Duncan Schneider, Cal Uens and Jack Dever. Barrie answered with only seconds left in the second period on a power play making it 2-1 at intermission. Ethan Quick found the back of the net twice in the third with assists to Jack Dever, Duncan Schneider and Ethan Miedema. Goal tender Aidan Crowley was credited with the 4-2 win.
Saturday, the boys traveled to Orillia to face the North Central Predators. Another scoreless first period didn’t deter the boys from their end goal of securing 4 points for the weekend. Ethan Quick netted one early in the second with assist to Ethan Miedema, only for NCP to respond seconds later. Sidney Wakely netted the game winning goal on a point shot in the third with an assist to Spencer Cranley. Empty netters credited to Ethan Quick and Tyson Carr for a final 4-1 win. Liam Murphy was between the pipes for this win.
The Bonn Law Minor Bantams look to lengthen their winning streak this Wednesday, October 17 as they take on Central Ontario Wolves at 6:30 at the Cobourg Community Centre.
Pita Pit- Minor Peewee
It was a very successful weekend for the Pita Pit Minor PeeWees bringing home 4 points. They started the weekend on Saturday with a home game against the Barrie Colts. The Pita Pit Devils started the scoring early but got into a little penatly trouble late in the game. The Colts took full advantage and found the back of the net a couple of times. This wasn’t enough as the Devils came out on top in the 5-4 win. Goals scored by Carter Chadwick (2), Rylan McCormack (2) and Evan Erwin with assists made by Sam Thompson (2), Deke Ostesterhout (2), McCormack, Erwin and Mason Musclow. Reece Herman picked up the win in net.
After a successful Saturday the Pita Pit boys were ready to roll on the road to face Whitby Wildcats. They didn’t slow down and played a very fast paced game the Wildcats were not expecting. Goals were scored by Christian Sokoljuk, Deke Osterhout and Ben Laird. Assisting with these goals were, Pax Murphy, McCormack, Erwin and Musclow. Liam Boyer was very solid between the pipes in the PitaPit boys 3-1 win.
On Deck: Saturday Oct 20th the Pita Pit Minor Peewees will travel to St. Andrews College to play York Simcoe Express.
KKP- Major Atom
The KKP Major Atoms played 3 games this past week.
On Wednesday The Devils hosted the Central Ontario Wolves. The Devils lost 5-2. Scoring for the Devils were Jacob Moore and Owen Rivers. Picking up assists were Jack Foley, Kaden Koutroulides and Kolby Craig.
On Saturday the Devils hosted the Oshawa Generals. The Devils tied 2-2. Scoring for the Devils were Koen Deveau-Smith and Ryland Cunningham.
On Sunday the Devils travelled to the Peterborough Petes. The Devils lost 3-1. Carson Lynch scored the lone goal for the Devils, assisted by Kaden Koutroulides and Cooper Kelly.
Up next for the Devils is an away game in Richmond Hill on Saturday and a home game versus the Central Ontario Wolves Sunday.
McInroy Maines- Major Midget
Solid Start for McInroy Maines Major Midget Program!
The McInroy Maines Quinte Red Devil Major Midget Program has continued tournament and league play to begin October.
October 6th, saw the first loss of the season to the Clarington Toros, OHF Tournament Host. The loss came by a score of 5-1 with the Toros being the more superior team on this day, Marshall McFarland scored the lone goal with Dryden Minifie providing the assist.
The boys didn’t have time to dwell on the loss as October 9th they were in Port Perry to take on the Central Wolves. This back and forth game saw the Devils come away with a 3-2 win with goals by Nick Kirby Pallister (2) and Jaxen Boyer. Assists to Nolan Dawson, Ethan Ashley and Boyer. Sam Dingle stopped 38/40 shots.
The weekend of Oct 12-14 saw the team take part in the Ottawa Jr. Sens Showcase at the Bell Sensplex.
