Loyalist College is moving towards becoming a smoke free campus.
With the legalization of marijuana just days away, the College issued a press release stating “as part of their commitment to health and wellness, recreational cannabis will continue to be strictly prohibited on college property.”
Loyalist is introducing Fit to Learn and Fit to Work operational policies and procedures which outline the expectation for students to be fully prepared to learn and participate in campus activities. This also applies to employees and contractors and their ability to perform their duties.
As of January 1, smoking or vaping will be prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas, in vehicles on campus or by any person on the campus.
