A group of paramedics in Northumberland County has been recognized for exemplary service.
Christopher Lake and Blake Manley accepted the Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal last month, one of the profession’s highest honours.
Additionally, Jim Anderson received his 40-year service bar, which accompanies a previously-awarded Exemplary Service Medal.
The medal recognizes paramedics who have served for at least 20 years in a meritorious manner, with at least 10 of those years on the street or air level, involving potential risk.
