Emergency crews were called to a single vehicle crash at Old Highway 2 near Mitchell Road just after 5:00 am Friday morning.
A vehicle struck a hydro pole.
One person was hurt but the extent of injuries is not known.
Traffic is currently being re-routed as hydro wires came down onto the road.
A caller to our newsroom says the driver swerved to avoid missing a family of rabbits.
