A newcomer to politics is running for the mayor’s position in Prince Edward County.
Richard Whiten, the owner of Picton Lube, was on CJBQ’s Lorne Brooker Show today.
Whiten says a lot of the roads in the county are in rough shape, especially due to ever increasing tourist traffic, and he’d be fighting hard to get more money from senior government.
But he also says more needs to be done locally.
Whiten, who moved to Prince Edward County in 2002, says he loves it here and so does his family.
