The Belleville Police responded to 43 calls for service between 5 a.m. on October 8, 2018 and 5 a.m. on October 9, 2018.
Theft Charges
At 7 p.m. officers attended an address on Harris Crescent in regards to a theft of a bicycle. Fortunately there were video cameras and the thief was caught on camera. After observing the video, officers on patrol located the suspect at 1:18 a.m. The 25-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with breaching probation, theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property. He was held for a bail hearing on October 9.
