A walk coming up is aimed at supporting victims of human trafficking.
It is called the Walk for Freedom, and it is taking place October 20 at Belleville West Zwick’s Park.
The walk supports a groups called A21, an international organization located in 14 countries, which is looking to expand into Canada.
They reach, rescue, and restore the lives of trafficking victims.
The registration begins at 10:00 a.m., with the walk starting at 11:00 a.m., leaving the park, going to city hall, and heading back.
A BBQ, guest speakers, and discussion are also taking place.
