Three people have been arrested following a robbery at a Belleville motel.
Belleville Police say around 6 a.m. they received a call from an employee at the North Front Street motel regarding three men who had been guests who approached the front desk and demanded access to the till.
One of the men had a knife and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken before the men fled.
With the public’s help, officers were able to locate the men and after a brief foot chase all three were arrested.
The men facing one count each of robbery and mischief are 23-year-old Daniel Woodstock of Belleville and two young offenders aged 16 and 17 who can’t be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The money was recovered and no injuries were sustained by the motel employee.
