There’s a new partner for Loyalist College and its medical cannabis research program.
The college and VIVO have entered into an agreement to investigate processes and technologies to increase production efficiency of high-quality medical cannabis oil, facilitate applied research in extraction and testing and investigate new product formats.
VIVO says the agreement will also give Loyalist students experiential learning opportunities within the company, to help them become “future leaders in the Canadian cannabis industry”.
The research agreement will be run through ABcann Medicinals Inc. in Napanee, which is a subsidiary of VIVO.
