Construction activity is a little slower this year than last in the City of Quinte West.
To the end of September, Quinte West’s building department had issued 616 permits for a total value
of 85.6 million dollars.
In the same period last year 776 permits had been issued which were valued at almost 98 million dollars.
Meanwhile, last month 65 building permits were issued for a value of 3.8 million dollars.
So far this year permits have been issued for 146 single family homes.
