A Belleville woman will not do jail time for her role in a disturbance last April.
City police were called to a residence after reports that someone was armed and there was yelling and screaming coming from an
east end residence.
Alicia Ann Palmer was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon.
In a Belleville courtroom recently, the 36 year old had the possession charge withdrawn but was found guilty of the assault
charge.
She was given a suspended sentence, 12 months probation, a 5 year weapons prohibition, and ordered to provide a DNA sample.
