UPDATE @ 3:35 p.m.: OPP and firefighters have cleared the scene and traffic is moving freely though the area again.
Drivers on Stirling-Marmora Road should expect delays this afternoon after a tractor trailer went into the ditch.
It happened before 2:00 pm. on Stirling-Marmora Road, between Mount Pleasant Road and Kings Mill Road.
Central Hastings OPP tell Quinte News nobody has been injured, but the truck was carrying a chemical and the Ministry of Environment has been called.
The road is blocked but traffic is getting by slowly on the shoulder.
If you can take an alternate route on your afternoon commute, you may want to do so.
