A 32-year-old man from Quinte West is facing a bunch of charges after OPP chased a dirt bike near Brighton yesterday.
Officers tried to stop the rider of the red bike, southbound on County Road 30 yesterday, but he made multiple attempts to evade police.
Police were eventually able to safely top the bike on Young Street, just north of Brighton and have charged Matthew Rightmyer with care and control over 80 milligrams, driving while disqualified, driving while suspended, driving with invalid plates, unlawfully driving an off-road vehicle on the highway, flight from police, and breaching probation.
He’ll appear in Brighton court on November 6.
