The Belleville Senators are moving closer to determining their roster for the upcoming American Hockey League season.
The 34 players in camp have gone through 3 intense days of practice. Belleville’s new head coach Troy Mann says it has been a productive 3 days.
The B-Sens hold their only scrimmage today in advance of a pair of exhibition games against Laval tomorrow and Saturday at the CAA Arena. Mann says the players are anxious to see game action.
Mann says roster decisions will be made after Saturday’s game.
Today’s scrimmage starts at 9:30 and is open to the public.
Belleville opens the new AHL season on Saturday October 6th when they face the Comets (Vancouver) in Utica.
The B-Sens home opener is Wednesday October 17th against the Binghamton (New Jersey) Devils at the CAA Arena.
