The Canadian Rural Innovation Summit is bound for the Quinte region later this fall.
The Rural Innovation Centre at 250 Sidney Street in Belleville will host the event November 19 and 20.
Economic, Job Creation, and Trade Minister Jim Wilson, along with Government House Leader Todd Smith will attend the event.
QuinteVation Executive Director Rob Clute says rural innovation needs a provincial and national voice.
Clute adds it is important for job growth in areas of rural Canada to see real sustainability.
Delegates will showcase success stories, hear about programming available, and opportunities to engage government officials at all levels.
