A woman faces charges after a man was stabbed during a domestic dispute late last (Friday) night in Belleville.
Shortly before midnight, police and paramedics responded to an incident in the city’s east end and a 35-year-old man was taken to Belleville General for treatment of a minor stab wound to his shoulder.
After investigation, the man’s 34-year-old common-law wife was charged with assault with a weapon.
She is in custody awaiting a bail hearing today (Saturday).
