A house was heavily damaged by fire Friday morning in Belleville.
During a thunderstorm, emergency crews responded to 134 Albert Street, between Dundas Street East and Bridge Street East.
It is believed lightning hit the house.
Officials were also told that the electrical panel was blown off the wall.
Everyone inside was able to escape safely.
The house was gutted, and has heavy smoke and water damage.
Albert Street will be closed while crews investigate and clean up the scene.
