Three Quinte region communities are getting together to boost business in the creative economy next week.
The cities of Belleville and Quinte West, along with Hastings County, are hosting the second Cultural Summit at
Signal Brewery in Corbyville.
The community’s economic development departments invite people from the local arts, media, government and business sectors
to get together to discover ways to create employment through culture.
The summit’s MC will be comedian Timmy Boyle.
The event’s keynote speaker will be Greg Tehven, Executive Director of Emerging Prairie, based out of Fargo, North Dakota.
His company connects entrepreneurs, artists and creators in the high technology space. He has been written about on Forbes.com,
and in Fortune and Entrepreneur magazines.
The Cultural Summit will be held Tuesday, September 25, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
