Quinte West firefighters were busy just before the noon hour today.
Emergency services were called to the Via Rail station in Trenton around 11 a.m. after reports of an unconscious male on board.
The man in his 30s according to Fire Chief John Whalen was found in an unoccupied car at the back of the train bound for Montreal.
He was transported to Trenton Memorial Hospital.
Then shortly before noon, emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Dufferin and Dundas Street West for a two-vehicle accident.
The jaws of life were required to extricate a driver.
Both drivers of the vehicles were taken to TMH.
