It was a nice soaking rain that we received yesterday (Monday), but we didn’t get as much as some forecasts predicted.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, Environment Canada reports that 14 millimetres of rain fell on the Quinte region yesterday.
That doesn’t come close to the record rainfall for a September 10 in our area.
That occurred back in 1986, when a whopping 65.6 mm or almost 3 inches of rain fell on the region.
