There have been reports of slow traffic and detours on a main road in Belleville after a crash this afternoon.
A Belleville Fire Department official tells Quinte News four cars were involved in the crash at the intersection of North Front Street and Earl, near the Metro Plaza, just before 4:00 p.m.
Without providing any specifics he says multiple patients were taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment of various injuries.
Calls to Quinte News say traffic was being detoured around the accident scene, so drivers should keep that in mind for now.
