A four-goal third period outburst was enough for the Wellington Dukes to earn a 5-3 victory over the Georgetown Raiders Sunday afternoon.
The game was a rematch of last season’s Buckland Cup OJHL final, which the Dukes won as well.
Nick Abbott and Tyson Gilmour each registered a goal and an assist, and Zach Uens notched the game-winning goal.
Adam Usinger notched three assists and Olivier Lafreniere made 33 saves for the win in net.
The Dukes will start a three-game-in-four-day stretch Thursday night when they visit the Stouffville Spirit before home games against Brantford (Friday at 7:30 p.m.) and Brampton (Sunday at 1:30 p.m.)
